Day 1 Arrival from 4pm, first night staying in Kathmandu
Day 2 Explore Boudhanath, travel to Namo Buddha Resort in afternoon
Day 3 Yoga Day at resort: Yoga, meditation, pranayama, teachings, chill time, massages and lots of organic homegrown food
Day 4 Hike to Namo Buddha and monastery
Day 5 Yoga Day at resort
Day 6 Day trip: Swayambhunath, Buddha Par and Thamel
Day 7 Yoga Day at resort
Day 8 Yoga Day at resort
Day 9 Day trip: Pharping
Day 10 Yoga Day at resort
Day 11 Depart Resort after breakfast, travel to Kopan Monastery
Day 12 Early morning meditation and private Buddhist class with resident teacher, hike to Pullahari Monastery
Day 13 Early morning meditation, Departure 12pm
Accommodation (12 Nights)
1st night: Guest house in Boudhanath (Kathmandu).
2nd to 10th nights: Luxurious Namo Buddha Resort, built in the traditional Newari style, with views of the Himalayas. Our meals will be prepared using local produce, some of which is organically grown at the resort.
11th & 12th nights: Kopan Monastery (or nunnery) - this will shared rooms.
Pricing Options:
• Twin Share - $3650pp
• Single Occupancy - $3950pp
Prices include all meals, classes, day trips, 12 nights accommodation.
$1000 deposit to secure your place. Payment can be made here or via Phoenix website.
Your Teacher
Sanjay has been guiding retreats since 2006 and brings a depth of personal practice to his teaching.
He has travelled to Nepal many times, spending around eight months in retreat and study at the renowned Kopan Monastery. With a background rooted in Mahayana Buddhist philosophy and decades of experience in physical yoga practice, Sanjay offers a unique and authentic perspective for those seeking a spiritually enriching journey through Nepal.
