Bishwa Prakash Sharma: No talk within alliance regarding government change

Kathmandu: Nepali Congress General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma has said no discussion was held regarding government change.

At a news conference organized by the Bajura chapter of Nepal Press Union, he mentioned that discussion was not held in the alliance and party regarding government change. The NC General Secretary shared that the party should criticize the weaknesses of the government and appreciate the positive activities it has carried out, adding protesting the wrong activities at a time when the NC is in the government is a democratic practice.

He expressed the commitment that the NC would not lag in making the government aware by carrying out supervision of its every activity and supporting the good activities. The NC leader clarified that the Mahasamiti convention is the convention to make policy, not electing a leader, laying emphasis that leaders should be worried about making the party's rule rather than for leadership in the Mahasamiti convention.

'We should not worry about Mission 84. We should be worried on the issue of how to take the country on the right path within 2081-83,' he stressed.
