Finance Minister: Govt positive on using CA service in tax administration

Kathmandu: Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat has said the government is positive to take the services of chartered accountants in tax administration.

Minister Dr. Mahat made those statements while addressing the 27th anniversary of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal and the sixth convocation ceremony. He said 'Good governance is guaranteed if chartered accountants carry out their responsibilities honestly in the course of fulfilling professional duties,'

The Finance Minister also mentioned that many things would be resolved after accounting and chartered accountants are up to the mark. He even said that there is a need to resolve serious types of problems based on their priority after categorizing the arrears and bringing Chartered Accountants into tax administration.
