Lightning kills one in Kaski

Kathmandu: A person has died after being struck by lightning in Pokhara.

The District Police Office, Kaski identified the deceased Dev Bahadur BK. 49 years old BK was a resident of Harpan, Pokhara metropolis-23.

The lightning severely injured him when he was about to lock the house door at 11:30 pm on Saturday. A local hospital pronounced him dead in a local hospital at 2:20 am today.

The body has been kept at the Western Regional Hospital, Pokhara Academy of Health Science for post-mortem examinations.
