Inmate commits suicide in jail

Kathmandu: A jailbird has committed suicide inside a prison in Nepalgunj, Banke.

23 years old Neeraj Gupta of Janaki Rural Municipality-6 hanged himself inside a washroom this morning, informed Banke Chief District Officer Bipin Acharya.

The deceased Gupta has been languishing in jail for the past three years. CDO Acharya said that the family and relatives of Gupta were informed about the incident.
