Appointment of justices to conclude soon: CJ Karki

Kathmandu: Chief Justice Hari Krishna Karki has assured the appointment of justices to conclude soon.

The meeting of the Judicial Council would conclude the appointment soon, he said while talking to media persons at the Biratnagar airport.

Karki stated that the Council requires some restructuring. He stressed the need for the implementation of the report submitted by the committee led by himself.

Karki said that the lottery system in the Supreme Court had made the business easier. He said, 'The cases registered over two years ago in the district and high courts have been significantly settled through the two plus zero campaign. In the future days given the nature of cases, work must be done according to the calendar of six months, one year, and 18 months.'
