Demise of two in road accident

Kathmandu: Two youths have died in a road accident in the Rupa rural municipality of Kaski.

The deceased are Krishna Gurung,29, and Ashok Gurung,24, Dudhpokhari Rural Municipality-6, Lamjung. They died when a motorcycle (Pra.3.02-009Pa. 5205) that they were riding on their way to Rupatal from Pokhara Metropolitan City-32 met with an accident and fell around 90 meters below the road on Saturday evening, District Police Office Kaski said.

After the accident, the injured were rescued by the police and taken to the Western Regional Hospital for treatment. The doctor declared both of them dead upon arrival. Meanwhile, the police are investigating the cause of the fatal accident.
